Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)
Definition
An Incoterms rule placing extensive delivery responsibility on the seller, including destination import clearance and applicable import duties.
In practical terms
DDP can be difficult where the seller cannot legally act as importer or recover destination taxes. The named place and local compliance capability should be confirmed before agreeing to it.
Example
The seller arranges transport, import entry, and delivery to the customers named location.
