FedEx publishes base rates, additional fees, customs clearance and brokerage-related charges, and demand surcharges across several documents. Domestic holiday surcharges have defined 2026-27 periods. International demand charges remain in effect until FedEx changes or withdraws them.

These fees relate to corrected or residential addresses, selected delivery areas, signatures, reroutes, returns, and weekend service.

FedEx applies non-transportation pickup fees by schedule type, booking method, day, and pickup location.

These charges affect fuel, remote international locations, customs processing, special commodities, and billing instructions.

FedEx customs clearance & brokerage fees
FedEx does not publish one universal brokerage fee for every international shipment. Customs costs can include clearance-entry work, disbursement, broker transfers, tariff lines, storage, government-agency processing, duties, and taxes. The payer and final amount depend on the service, route, shipment value, commodity, and customs entry.

These per-pound charges apply to specific U.S. export or import markets until further notice. Parcel shipments have a $1 minimum and freight shipments a $50 minimum.
