A road service in which a trailer or vehicle is primarily dedicated to one shipment.
In practical terms
Full truckload is commonly used for larger volumes, time-sensitive movements, or goods that benefit from fewer terminal handoffs. Vehicle capacity and route conditions still apply.
Example
A shipper books a dedicated dry van for 22 pallets moving directly to one consignee.
